New Mexico Mom, Another Woman, Shot Dead, 5-Year Old Child Wounded After 10-Month-Old Baby Was Abducted
A New Mexico mom was shot dead and her 10-month-old baby was abducted in a heinous attack which also saw another woman dead and a 5-year-old girl wounded at Ned Houk Park in Clovis, New Mexico.
According to NBC News, the attack happened around Friday, with the Clovis Police Department being dispatched to Ned Houk Park around 4:30 PM after a 911 call of a person discovering two dead women within the park.
So far, New Mexico State Police have stated that they do not have a suspect in the attack yet, but they do believe that a person who was "driving a maroon Honda" may be the killer. Both women, including the mother of the abducted infant, are confirmed dead while the 5-year-old girl somehow survived with a gunshot wound to her head.
The bodies of the women were found by police lying on the ground near a silver Dodge minivan and they were apparently shot to death. Meanwhile, the little girl was taken to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas where she is being treated.
Inside the minivan, police found an infant car seat, an infant stroller and a small baby bottle. They believed that the baby, 10-month-old Eleia Maria Torres, was abducted and New Mexico authorities have now issued an amber alert for her.
"Officers were concerned there was an infant child with the female victims when this incident happened," a statement from the Clovis Police Department read, The police immediately began a search for the missing baby but could not find her.

New Mexico Police Identify 2 Women Killed in Attack Where Baby Was Abducted
New Mexico State Police have revealed that the mom of the abducted 10-month-old girl and the wounded 5-year-old girl was identified as Samantha Cisneros. However, the two girls have different fathers. The other woman who was killed was identified as Taryn Allen. Both victims were 23 years old and were both from Texico, New Mexico.
According to the Associated Press, the police do not believe the fathers of the two girls are the suspects and both are already cooperating with police. They also ruled out the possibility of a robbery as their purses and other belongings were found near their bodies.
The FBI, the Clovis Police, and the New Mexico State Police are working together on this case and are asking the public for any leads regarding the suspect and the missing baby Eleia Maria Torres.
Search for Abducted New Mexico Baby Eleia Maria Torres Continues
The FBI has stated that no detail on the whereabouts of the abducted baby are too small and described her in the amber alert as 28 inches tall and weighs 23 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
"We need to show our community's support," said Clovis Police Chief Roy Rice. "There have been a lot of tragic events, and a lot of people are damaged and are victims in this. And we're here to help them."
