Donald Trump Supporters Threaten Another Insurrection, Call for Riots and Killing the Judge After Ex-POTUS Was Found Guilty
As expected, Donald Trump's supporters are not taking the news of him being found guilty of all 32 counts of falsifying business records too well as they are now threatening violence. Some of them are even calling for the death of Judge Juan Merchan after a jury that Trump's own lawyers had a massive input on found him guilty.
"Someone in NY with nothing to lose needs to take care of Merchan," one Trump supporter wrote on Patriots.Win. "Hopefully he gets met with illegals with a machete," furthering false claims that Biden is helping illegal immigrants.
Others are calling for people to kill their fellow Americans and promoting Trump's dictatorial and populist promises, with one poster on Gateway Pundit suggesting, "Time to start capping some leftys, this cannot be fixed by voting."
Despite claiming to be the "law and order" candidate, Trump has repeatedly whipped up his supporters to make threats of violence and give out intimidating rhetoric. This was especially true after Trump lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden. He falsely claimed that the election was stolen and whipped his supporters to a frenzy on January 6, 2021. This, of course, led to the January 6 Capitol insurrection.
Trump's own rhetoric is not helping either. Despite the strong evidence laid out against him and being found guilty by a jury, he has made his supporters believe that this trial was unfair and there was no evidence of his wrongdoing, even though he left a paper trail and his own aides and Trump Organization employees testified against him.
"1,000,000 men (armed) need to go to Washington and hang everyone. That's the only solution," another poster added, calling for yet another insurrection on Patriots.win, while another poster stated, "Trump should already know he has an army willing to fight and die for him if he says the words...I'll take up arms if he asks."
Donald Trump Forcing Republican Politicians to Bow Down Before Him or Be Exiled
As Trump supporters are still coping, Republican politicians, whose Christian values are being called into question as they line up to defend a convicted felon who cheated on his wife with a porn star and was also behind a violent insurrection.
However, as the BBC pointed out, with the Republican Party being under Trump's thumb, it is either you are with him or against him, and those against him often get exiled.
This is shown by how Larry Hogan, a moderate Republican who is running for Senate in liberal-leaning Maryland, was treated. After the Trump guilty verdict, he urged all Americans to "respect the verdict and the legal process." This did not make the Trump worshippers in the party happy.
Chris LaCivita, a top official with the Trump Campaign soon replied, "You just ended your campaign," which the BBC noted was an implication that "if you're not with us on this, you're politically dead." This is from the party that says they advocated "free speech."
