Nearly two months after giving birth to her son, Ciara now graces the cover of the August-September issue of Brides, where she reveals her wedding plans with fiancé Future.

On the latest edition, the 28-year-old R&B beauty poses in a Chantilly lace gown by Reem Acra, completing her elegant look with her hair styled in blonde short waves. She also holds a bouquet of cream garden roses.

During the recent interview, CiCi got emotional talking about meeting the "Move That Dope" rapper. "I can't believe I'm crying!" she said and teared up. "I knew right away that he was different. Now he's my best friend in the world, my partner."

The hip-hop couple has been dating since late 2012 and announced their engagement in October 2013 -- Future famously proposed with a 15-carat diamond ring while celebrating Ciara's 28th birthday. They welcomed their first child, also named Future (Zahir Wilburn), on May 19.

The "Body Party" singer then talked about her nuptial plans with her husband-to-be. She said that the wedding will be "Indoors and black tie," adding, "For the palette, I'm not into loud colors. I like black and white, classic and clean."

"My everyday style is what I call 'tomboy chic,'" she said. "But for my wedding, I'm going to do elegance with a little edge."

The "Ride It" hitmaker also said, "There will be five or six [bridesmaids] and two matrons of honor [including La La Anthony]. They'll all wear the same color, but in different styles to suit their personalities. I want my ladies to look amazing!"

Ciara's celebrity pals in the music industry will perform during the reception. "A few of our friends will sing, and we'll have a great DJ -- good old soul mixed with new stuff," she said. "You want people to say, 'This is my jam!'"
