'Orange Is the New Black' Season 3 Release Spoilers: More Laura Prepon, Pablo Schreiber Leaves for HBO's 'The Brink'
"Orange Is the New Black" fans already suffering withdrawal after Season 2 (which premiered last month), have no fear!
Season 3 is already in production and may be coming sooner than we think.
The first season of "OITNB" premiered on Netflix last summer. Unfortunately, fans had to wait until this summer to get their next "OITNB" fix.
However, since Netflix and Jenji Kohan seem to be speeding up production on the newest season, fans may get to binge-watch "Orange Is the New Black" a bit sooner.
So what can we expect from "Orange Is the New Black" Season 3?
We can definitely look forward to seeing more of Laura Prepon on the show.
While promoting Season 2 of "OITNB," Prepon revealed to the Daily Beast that if the show were renewed for a third season, she would definitely be on it full-time.
"[I]f we get a Season 3, I'll be in every episode. I totally missed the show. It sucks, but there's only one of me, and there's only so much time in the day," Prepon told The Daily Beast. "We did what we could, and if there's a Season 3, I worked it out so that wouldn't be an issue anymore."
As promised, the writers conveniently wrote a plot line to have Piper manage to get Alex Vause back into jail in Season 2.
Perhaps a love rekindling is in store for Piper and Alex.
But as one cast member returns, another will leave in Season 3.
Last week, Pablo Schreiber, who plays George "Pornstache" Mendez on the show, revealed that he is leaving "Orange Is the New Black" to be on HBO's "The Brink" instead.
In his place will be "Justified" actress Mary Steenburgen, reports The Christian Post.
Steenburgen will be playing Pornstache's mother, who will reportedly be trying to get custody of Daya's baby while Pornstache is doing time.
