Kanye West Reality Show: Footage Shows Rapper Appearing on Failed Reality TV Pilot [Watch]
"New Slaves" rapper Kanye West was involved with reality television even before his relationship with "KUWTK" reality TV star Kim Kardashian, TMZ reports.
TMZ recently obtained footage of the Chicago rapper and fashion designer appearing on a failed reality TV pilot for TNE Travel.
The failed pilot focuses on the work of "travel agent to the stars," Brett Grolsch.
In the beginning of the leaked TMZ clip, we see Grolsch boast about his A-list clientele which includes Kelly Rowland, Keyshia Cole, Common, and Kanye West.
"My name is Brett Grolsch, the ultimate travel agent to the stars," Grolsch says in the beginning of the pilot clip.
The clip then cuts to West going on a traditional rant where he complains about a trip from Frankfurt to L.A. and how he avoids traveling through airports "at all costs."
"I took a two hour flight to Frankfurt, and then Frankfurt to L.A.," West begins explaining his Frankfurt story to Grolsch and others in what appears to be a recording studio.
He continues, "But I was like, 'I coulda just took a two hour drive to London and then a straight shot to L.A. and get there earlier.' So as I'm sitting in Frankfurt for like an hour and a half layover, I call them and I was like, 'Yo, what the...why the f**k am I in Frankfurt...' cause I try to avoid airports at all costs."
West then goes on to explain that annoying fans are the reason why he stays clear from airports.
"People say really stupid stuff to me," he says.
One of West's favorite moves when trying to avoid fans at the airport is pretending to be on his cell phone, he reveals to Grolsch.
"This is one of my moves though. I'll be on the phone even when I'm not on the phone though. Just to keep from people coming up to me," he says.
And when fans "have no respect" for Kanye West's phone trick, the rapper tries a different tactic to avoid "snapping on a fan."
"This is how you can get away with not snapping on fan. What you do is you snap on the person you're on the phone with," West explains. "That lets [the fan] know that they're interrupting the sh*t out of you."
