Drake, Chris Brown Team up for ESPYs Skit
It seems that Drake and Chris Brown have put their squabbles to rest, as the two are now allegedly working on an ESPY skit together.
In addition to hosting the 2014 ESPY awards, Drake will also be appearing in a skit with his former archenemy, Chris Brown, TMZ reports. Clippers star, Blake Griffin will also take part in the skit.
TMZ snapped a photo of Griffin and Drake rehearsing together without Brown.
Despite Brown's absence in the photo, TMZ confirms that Brown will also be featured in the skit.
The skit reportedly begins in a law office, then a locker room, and finally ends in a dentist's office. [TMZ]
Griffin will be playing the dentist who will operate on the patient played by Drake.
During the skit, TMZ reports, Drake screams out, "Are you really going to do this?"
Suddenly, during Drake's frightened reaction, Brown appears and answers, "No I am."
Last week, MTV reported that Brown and Drake were also working on music together.
On Friday, Drake's fan site, "Word on Road" posted a photo on Instagram of the pair in the studio together. Although neither artist has confirmed an upcoming musical collaboration, the picture garnered massive excited frenzy from fans.
While fans wait on confirmation of a Brown/Drake collaboration, they can catch the duo live at the ESPY awards on Wednesday night on ESPN at 9pm/ET.
Drake will be hosting the ESPY awards for the first time. During ESPN's "NBA Countdown," the Canadian actor-turned-rapper described the ESPY hosting gig as "dream."
"It's been a dream of mine for a long time," he admitted. "I watched a guy that I look up to in every aspect of life -- Jamie Foxx -- do it and I always say if I can follow in his footsteps that'll be a great career for me, so I was blessed with the opportunity to do it. 'SNL' gave me the confidence to do it."
