iOS 7 Jailbreak News, Download & Update: Is Pangu's Jailbreak Filled With Malware?
Desperate for more iPhone features? Then maybe a jailbreak is right for you. So just what is a jailbreak? Basically, it's like taking the training wheels off of your iOS device.
Furthermore, if you choose to jailbreak, you can gain access to coveted features like mobile hotspot, AdBlocker and Bigify. Some of these apps are free and others like AdBlocker just cost a couple of bucks. These apps and features can be found in Cydia, the alternative App store for jailbroken devices.
But that's not all! You can also choose to go to the dark side and skin your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch device in order to make it look more like an Android phone. So if this piques your interest then let's take a look at what jailbreaks are available.
Evad3rs, perhaps the most well-known jailbreak hacker, hasn't touched the two most current versions of Apple's mobile operating system, iOS 7.1.1 or 7.1.2, instead allowing others to do the work. The latest Evad3rs jailbreak is for iOS version 7.1 which was released on March 10, 2014.
According to The Epoch Times, those "others" are Hao (windknown), XiaBo Chen (dm557) and Daniel Manoppo (Daniel_K4), a Chinese led team of uber hackers collectively known as Pangu. While they've jailbroken iOS 7.1.1 and iOS 7.1.2, no small feat considering that Apple's security measures get more sophisticated making each iOS release harder and harder to crack.
But fellow iPhone hacker Stefan Esser has issues a warning for users ready to download the Pangu update. First off, Esser has claimed that Pangu stole his ideas for the two latest jailbreaks. Esser also claims that these jailbreaks contain "malware from China." All of a sudden this how jailbreaking business sounds like a plot straight out of "Red Dawn."

In other jailbreak news, Apple may or may not release iOS 7.1.3 in July. Jailbreaks aren't guaranteed, but it has a good chance to be jailbroken considering how hackers are chipping away at the just released iOS 8 Beta 4 already.
