Dwyane Wade & Gabrielle Union Wedding: Couple Bans Phones From Wedding
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have recently sent out the invitations for their Aug. 30 wedding to their wedding guests.
However, TMZ got a hold of the invitation that includes a non-negotiable clause from the soon-to-be- wed couple: no cameras or phones allowed!
The invitation reads, " To our family and friends, we are looking forward to sharing this very special day with you. For the comfort of our guests and to protect our privacy, no cameras or cell phones will be permitted at the party. Also, photo IDs will be required for all guests."
Although the location for the wedding still remains a mystery, the dress code for the Wade wedding is formal black for the men and formal white attire for the women.
Prior to the wedding, all guests will meet at a lavish hotel in Miami. The guests will then travel in buses to the reception location that is "approximately 40 to 50 minutes south of South Beach," according to the wooden invite. [TMZ]
"Buses will depart promptly at 9:45pm from the North-North entrance of the hotel; please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure to process through security," the invite continues. "If you choose to drive yourself, please call ... hours prior to the event ... for directions to the venue (located approximately 45 to 50 minutes south of South Beach). Once on-site, you should allow at least 30 minutes to process through security at the venue."
TMZ suggests that Wade and Union's no photo requirement may be a strategy to sell their personal wedding photos taken from their own photographer, to the tabloids.
Prior to the no-camera rule, Union previously revealed another requirement she has; this time, for her soon-to-be husband.
During her interview on the Arsenio Hall show, Union, who has already been married before, admitted, "The biggest difference between this and the last marriage will be a prenup at my insistence. When you have your own stuff, you don't need to worry about anyone else's stuff. Everyone should go into a relationship knowing I'm here for you and you're here for me. And the reality is, I've never seen Dwayne balance a checkbook, so I gotta protect my stuff."
