PETA was really hoping to get Sofia Vergara for its "I'd Rather Go Naked" campaign, but it doesn't seem like that will happen.

The actress herself said that rumors saying she was going nude for a good cause were "a lie," according to TV y Novelas. Vergara won't be joining Eva Mendes, Penelope Cruz and Kate del Castillo, who have all posed for PETA Latino.

PETA was really hoping for a chance to work with the "Modern Family" star.

"We love Sofia and would gladly work with her," said a spokesman for PETA. "I hope these rumors involving the beginning of a relationship between her and PETA are true."

One Sofia Vergara rumor that was based on fact was her relationship status with "Magic Mike" star Joe Manganiello.

The duo was seen multiple times over the weekend in California, notes the New York Daily News.

On Friday, Vergara and Manganiello were in Beverly Hills. The next day they went to Aroma Coffee & Tea Co in Studio City. Vergara wore jeans and Christian Louboutin heels, as the two held hands. On Sunday, the two attended a Lady Gaga concert.

Vergara shared some pictures of the Lady Gaga concert, and even one where she posed with the "Bad Romance" singer. Manganiello was not present in any of the photos.

And it seems Vergara's "Modern Family" co-stars really approve of the pairing.

Sarah Hyland is "all for it," according to Us Weekly.

"I think they are super hot together," Hyland said. "I know Joe, and he is divine. He played my boyfriend's dad in an episode of Medium, so we've known him for quite some time. He's just an amazing person, and I love them individually. So him and Sofia together, I'm all for it! They'd make really hot babies!"
