Sandra Bullock and George Clooney were all smiles to their fans, the media and to each other as they attended the 70th Venice Film Festival in Palazzo Del Casino, Wednesday.

According to the Daily Mail, the stars arrived at the scene in style: Bullock wore an Alex Perry color block dress in pink, green and red with strappy nude heels, while the actor sported a dark blue pinstripe suit paired with a white shirt.

Bullock, her 2-year-old son Louis and Clooney reportedly spent some time together at the actor's villa in Lake Como a day before the festival started its ten-day celebration. They were joined by other friends.

Several reports also suggest that Clooney was undeniably making his move on the 49-year-old actress. According to The Sun, the actor was throwing his trademark seductive glances at his co-star during the film festival.

The Express notes that the two looked very comfortable with one another and even held hands in front of the camera at one point. Clooney was also not hesitant to grab Bullock's waist while posing for the cameras.

However, the actress was quick to dispel rumors about her and Clooney dating. In a report by MSN Wonder Wall, Bullock said that her co-star isn't making a pass at her.

"He was not making eyes. Maybe cross-eyes, but that is about the extent of his goggle eyes. Besides, each has enough dirt on the other to command a level of respect and understanding. I adore George," she said in the report.

George Clooney also commented on the issue through an official statement released by Warner Bros., reports Jobs&Hire. Clooney said that "he and Sandra have known each other way, way back even before basking on their triumphs as Hollywood stars. So, there is no pretense. We are just friends."

Clooney and Bullock star together in the film "Gravity," where they both play the role of surviving astronauts stranded in space. Watch the film's trailer below.
