Taylor Swift Harry Styles VMA: Songstress Mouths the F Word to 1D Singer
This year's VMAs was a mix of latex bikinis, teddy bears, reunions, twerking and apparently F-bombing - courtesy of none other than Taylor Swift.
The 23-year-old beauty was seen mouthing "shut the f*** up" as One Direction took the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 last Sunday.
According to New York Daily News, when the British boy band took the stage to present an award during the show, MTV's audience cam panned towards Swift's direction and caught her mouthing not so good words to seat mate and BFF, Selena Gomez.
The singer appeared to be mouthing "Shut the f*** up," as the cam showed her on screen. It isn't clear as to what or to whom she was referring to, but rumors are saying it was probably intended for her ex-botfreind, Harry Styles.
Then again, she could have also been reacting to something Gomez was saying right at the moment Styles appeared on stage. Gomez declined to comment on the issue and even reprimanded a reporter Monday during her new film's premiere, Getaway, says USA Today.
"Don't try that with me," the singer-actress told the reporter.
"I think girls need to be more supportive of each other. I definitely agree with that. I'm all about that. Taylor has been one of those girls. We have been friends for five years. She is very strong. She doesn't care what people think and she inspires me," she later added.
Swift took home the Best Female Video Award for her song "I Knew You Were Trouble" that night. She also did not fail to acknowledge Styles that night:
"Thank you. Wow. I want to thank the fans because I tweeted about this a lot. I really, really wanted this. I also want to thank the person that inspired this song, and he knows exactly who he is, because I got one of these!"
Later that night, the two came together to snap a picture for DJ Spiky Phil posted on his Instagram account with the caption:
"Hosting the VMA after party @grandlifehotels With Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran & Harry Styles."
