Comic-Con is a little like Halloween. Some people will opt for elaborate costumes, but others will want to look cute. Some just go for something sexy. Here are nine of the sexiest cosplayers of San Diego Comic-Con.

A Catwoman costume is particularly unforgiving, but this Comic-Con goer took on the challenge and succeeded.

This Silver Surfer had no problem showing skin. And we're sure attendees were not just checking out the silver body paint.

This Black Widow costume is a little different than the one Scarlett Johansson wears for the Marvel movies, but even though it's sexier, it still feels very true to the character.

One of the best things about Comic-Con and cosplay is that women dress up as characters that are traditionally male. This woman did a killer job of looking tough as a character from "300." She also looks sexy, which is just an added bonus.

Quorra from "Tron: Legacy" and Wolverine prove that you don't need to show that much skin to look sexy. However, it doesn't hurt that Wolverine is in great shape.

Just as with menswear, women wear it better. These two beauties dressed up as Stormtroopers, and they make these bumbling characters seem cooler than they usually are.

This cosplayer wore what may seem like an impractical outfit for fighting, but it is very much in the spirit of the character she's emulating. And it still keeps its edge. We think Jade from "Mortal Kombat" would love to add this sexy outfit to her arsenal.

Adrianne Curry went for an old school Catwoman look that still managed to look sexy. And she was joined by two other sexy characters: Tigra and Poison Ivy.

And lastly, Chris Hemsworth made headlines for his muscular physique. Though, he's not technically wearing a costume, Chris Evans would argue that he deserves a place on this list. "He IS Thor. It's not just a costume," Evans said about his "The Avengers" co-star Hemsworth.
