Remember the NBC show "Chuck?" While the show ended its five-season run in 2012, fans of the spy dramedy may be in luck.

According to Deadline, former "Chuck" executive producer Matt Miller and writer Zev Borow have sold "Bad Guys," their cop/family drama, to Fox. 

"Bad Guys," which is written by Zorow and supervised by Miller, "centers on Lea Morris, a NYPD detective and a single mom raising a teenage son, and her dad Nialin Morris, a recently paroled ex-con who wants a second chance with his daughter and a first with his grandson," Deadline writes.

The project's logline reads: "Bad Guys affirms the ancient truth: You can't pick your family, but with any luck you can arrest them."

Miller and Borow have worked with Fox before, as the showrunner and writer respectively for the short-lived action series "Human Target." Miller will also serve as an executive producer/showrunner for other upcoming pilots, including the CW drama series "The 100" and the ABC crime drama "Forever."

What have former "Chuck" stars been up to lately?

Zachary Levi, who played the title character, can be seen alongside Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins in "Thor: The Dark World," which premieres Oct. 30.

Yvonne Strahovski, who played CIA agent Sarah Walker and Chuck's love interest, will star alongside Aaron Eckhart and Bill Nighy in the action thriller "I, Frankenstein," which premieres January 2014.

Strahovski can currently be seen in the final season of "Dexter." The Australian actress reprised her recurring role as Hannah McKay, Dexter's love interest and partner in crime.

The series finale of the popular Showtime serial killer drama, which stars Michael C. Hall, airs Sept. 22.
