"Snow White And The Huntsman" will be returning to the big screen on April 22, 2016.

The next movie will be a prequel, starring Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron, and it will tell the story of how The Huntsman and Ravenna met, Deadline noted. It takes place before either encountered Snow White.

This means Kristen Stewart wouldn't even make an appearance in the next film. Originally, it was said that her character would be present in some form, Cinema Blend noted.

The movie will be called "The Huntsman," and it will delve deeper into his life. In "Snow White And The Huntsman," it was revealed that his wife was murdered.

The first movie grossed about $400 million worldwide. The prequel will now be taking the release date that was originally meant for "The Mummy."

Director and writer Frank Darabont will lead "The Huntsman," meaning that Rupert Sanders will also not be tied to the project.

Sanders and Stewart were caught having an affair on the set of the movie.

Sanders and his wife have officially divorced, according to E! Online.

The two were separated for more than a year. Ross will get the couple's Los Angeles home, two of their London homes and 15 percent of profits from his movies.

The two married in 2003, and will get joint custody of their children.

At the time, Stewart released a statement about the affair.

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," Stewart said. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
