K. Lee Graham from South Carolina has just been crowned Miss Teen USA of 2014.

The 17-year-old brunette beauty beat out a whopping 51 contestants for the coveted crown, E! News reports.

At the start of the pageant that took place at the Bahamas Atlantis Resort, the 51 contestants were immediately cut down to 15 contestants.

Following the large contestant cut, the remaining 15 were put through a grueling two hours of catwalk and Q&A. Finally, those 15 were later cut down to five contestants, E! News reported.

Ultimately, the winner of the teen competition was K. Lee Graham, who beamed with joy and excitement following her win.

"I can't even talk right now. This is literally a dream come true," Graham told the crowd after receiving her crown.

"I don't know how many times I went to bed thinking about this and woke up in the morning thinking about this. Thank you for supporting me. We did it!"

Miss Teen USA 2014's runner-up is Vaeda Mann from Mississippi who will be responsible for taking Graham's place if she is unable to fulfill her winning title requirements.

The Post and Courier reports that Graham plans to raise awareness and promote her Live Beautifully campaign that emphasizes beauty from within rather outward physical beauty.

Along with her Beauty Secrets campaign, Graham also has a blog titled "Live Beautifully" that provides details on the mission of her campaign, along with blog posts about her journey towards becoming Miss South Carolina Teen USA 2014.

"Have you ever wanted to learn beauty secrets from a beauty queen? Now is your chance! But, I'm not going to tell you about how to curl your hair or how to get that perfect (but oh so elusive) smoky eye. In fact, I'm here to tell you that stuff doesn't matter one bit. Not one bit," Graham writes in the introduction of her blog.

"I'm telling you that the way you look in a mirror is not something to base your self worth on, because it does not last. But beauty, on the other hand, can be something that will define you for the rest of your life. Because to me, beauty is not based on the way you look. Beauty stems from your character, from the way you treat others, from your service, and from your faith. That's why I created my 'Live Beautifully' campaign, to redefine the definition of beauty for today's young adults."
