The Riveras are busy putting together their next concert in honor of Jenni Rivera.

The next concert also seeks to help battered women, noted People En Español.

Juan Rivera said the goal is to have a yearly concert under the title Jenni Vive, or Jenni lives, for the next 10 years. The concerts will raise money for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

"Chay's [Jenni] heart was so big that she saw a child with cancer and she would send them money," he said. "Or someone needed surgery for something and she would give them money for whatever type of illness. We think it's important that people see that we are working on what Chay wanted to do."

The first concert will take place on Dec. 9, which is the anniversary of her death, in Los Angeles. All the money will benefit a shelter in Los Angeles.

Though the Riveras are still planning what the concert will look and who will perform, Juan said that it will be more than just artists from regional Mexican music genre. 

"My sister crossed different genres, including pop, bachata," he said. "She even sang reggaeton, so we will also include those genres. The concert will also benefit upcoming artists, who will hopefully get a lot of promotion and great visibility."

The family has a few other plans it is working on. The Riveras want to put on an English album, an album of more live performances and to release other previously unpublished music.

And the Riveras continue to work on the biopic based on Jenni's life.

"It's something that we're doing slowly because we want to do something special, something very well done," he said. "We don't want the movie to be about Jenni the singer, or the artist. We want it to be more than that. We want it to be an inspirational movie, of the woman who didn't know how to be beaten. She knew how to confront her problems in life and even though there were many blows, she knew how to overcome it and move forward."
