Game maker Bioware has pushed back the release date on its much anticipated "Dragon Age: Inquisition" title to November 18, but has leaked some details on the game to keep players salivating, according to HITC.

A warning before proceeding: the information below may contain spoilers for the game. Read on with caution if that kind of thing is upsetting.

Some gameplay rumors, from Lazy Gamer:

  • Red Lyrium, a compound with the opposite properties of the magic blue Lyrium, will be introduced
  • Players may have to clear certain parts of the map before unlocking others.
  • Users will be able to designate areas as operation points on the map so they can be accessed when players return to Skyhold, the base of operations.
  • Gamers can manage operations through the war table in Skyhold, and by doing so can get resources like gold and loot.
  • Some operations are concluded instantly and some require an advisor -- Cullen, Leliana or Josephine -- to resolve them. The chosen advisor will be unavailable while conducting the operation.
  • There's game will introduce a new resource called Influence.
  • Influence will give the gamer inquisition perks. They are split into four categories: Forces, Secrets, Connections and "Inquisition."
  • The player's Skyhold will change to reflect which perks the player favors
  • Dragon fights will be scripted and each dragon has an individual personality.

"It was that goal that motivated many of our decisions: moving to Frostbite, bringing race choice and customization back, improving tactical camera, building a team of characters whose relationships evolve based on your actions, and most importantly, crafting an epic, nation-spanning story that both draws upon past games and takes you to many new places in the realm of Thedas," Mark Darrah, executive producer of the game, said on the EA website.
