Watch a Drunk Chrissy Teigen Throw the First Pitch at a Dodgers Game [Video]
Not only did supermodel Chrissy Teigen throw a pretty impressive first pitch at the LA Dodgers game on Tuesday, but it turns out that she may have been drunk while she was on the field.
Right before the Sports Illustrated 2014 cover model threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Dodgers v. Angels game, she tweeted about enjoying margaritas with her family for her father's birthday.
"Dad making birthday margaritas like only dad can!! I love you dad, happy birthday!!!!" she tweeted.
About an hour later, she tweeted, "Crap I'm pretty drunk," and, "My mom is bombed."
Soon after, she tweeted that it was time for first pitch: "PRACTICE."
An hour later she posted a Vine video where she is seen practicing for her first pitch duties.
Despite the margaritas, Teigen managed to toss a good first pitch. She did it while wearing tight short blue spandex shorts and a customized Dodgers jersey that read "Nugz 40" on the back. After the pitch, she told a reporter that she got the nickname "Nugz 40" from her husband John Legend because her favorite drunk food is 40 chicken nuggets.
The 28-year-old swimsuit model may have had a lot of fun drinking and at her first pitch, but she sure paid the consequences the following day.
On Thursday, Teigen indicated that she may have had too much drink and was suffering from a hangover.
"Forget everything you thought you knew about hangovers," she posted on Twitter Thursday afternoon.
Teigen, however, isn't the first person to throw a pitch while drunk.
Famous left-handed pitcher David Wells, who played with the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays, admitted in his autobiography that he was "half drunk" when he threw a perfect game for the Bombers back in 1998, reports the New York Daily News.
