Testicle Eating Fish On Its Way To UK After Discovery In Paris
The testicle eating fish, originally from South America, has been recently discovered in the Seine River of Paris.
It was last week when a fisherman from Paris caught this deadly fish breed that comes with human-looking teeth. Police assigned by the river studied and eventually confirmed that it was the Pacu fish aka the 'ball cutter' fish. It has been recognized as a close cousin of the Piranha.
Last month, many Swedish swimmers panicked when this Amazonian fish at 8 inches in size was also caught in their southern coast. On the other hand, the Pacu that was caught recently just measured 1 foot.
More About The Nut Eating Fish
This fish which grows in freshwater is said to grow up 35 inches and reach the most weight of 55lb. Its nickname of 'ball cutter' was given to the fish breed since it is fond of attacking male genitalia.
It can attack in packs large enough that fishermen who were victimized have bled to death after having their testicles munched up by the fish. It is commonly found in the basins of South America and was also seen Papua New Guinea.
A Danish fish expert, Henrik Carl, noted that the Pacu fish is not too dangerous for human beings but it can give severe bites. He also added that the fish species bite when they are hungry and testicles feel nice on their mouths. Since it also likes eating fruits and nuts, then the human testicles can also be a potential target.
River police in Paris have caught not just this eerie testicle eating fish but other weird species including a nine-foot royal python that is headless.
