Diego Maradona, Veronica Ojeda and their son were surrounded by journalists in Buenos Aires, where the former soccer player ended up confronting a journalist.

When he was inside his car, Maradona made a quick statement. He then rolled up his windows and got out of the car. He started walking toward a journalist.

"Why do you mess with my woman if I don't mess with you?" he asked.

He called the journalist an idiot before slapping him.

The video doesn't show too much of what happened before he confronted the journalist, but the many sources that were there saw that he was telling the crowd that he was 53 years old.

He was in the car with Veronica Ojeda, who is the mother of his child, and their son. The reporter that was slapped supposedly winked at Ojeda, according to Metro.

After the incident, he got back in his car and left without saying anything else.

Ojeda first announced she was pregnant with Maradona's child in 2012. The two had reportedly been trying to get pregnant since 2010 after she miscarried, according to the Daily Mail.

Ojeda recently opened up about her relationship with Maradona.

She decided to open up because she said that Rocio Oliva, who was described as Maradona's new girlfriend earlier in the year, was lying about Maradona. Ojeda had been visiting Maradona in Brazil, where he was covering the World Cup, with her son.

"She said Diego called her over the weekend when he was with us," she said. "The only people he called were his children and his ex-wife because of some problems she was having with their grandson. I am witness because I was in the same house as Diego. The three of us slept together the three days we were there."
