After a couple of flirtatious snaps of Kendall Jenner and Justin Bieber recently spread on social media, Kylie is reportedly heartbroken that her older sibling has been cozying up with her crush.

According to Heat Magazine, the 17-year-old was quite upset to discover that her sister got intimate with the pop star. "Kendall knows full well that her sister loves Justin. Kylie's been desperate to date him for a long time, so for Kendall to hook up with him is pretty poor form," an insider revealed. "L.A. is nine hours behind Spain, so it was the middle of the afternoon when Kylie saw Kendall's steamy Instagram pictures with Justin. She tried to pretend that she didn't care, but she was close to tears."

The insider continued, saying that the 18-year-old model was bragging about spending the whole night with the Canadian singer: "They all went back to Justin's hotel suite to carry on the party. Kendall didn't get back to her own room until the next morning. She's boasting about her time with Justin. She's telling everyone they'll be hooking up again as soon as they're both back in L.A. It's caused a major split in the family, with everyone taking sides."

"Her mom Kris thinks it's a great idea to raise Kendall's profile -- and was at the party too, encouraging them -- but her dad Bruce was really upset," the insider added.

Meanwhile, the matriarch of the notorious Kardashian clan reportedly set Kendall Jenner up with the Dallas Mavericks' newest acquisition, Chandler Parsons. The couple first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted "flirting heavily" while dining at STK in Los Angeles. "Mama Kris met Chandler a few weeks ago and was blown away by not only his good looks, but his promising B-ball future," another source told MailOnline.

Just days before Parsons was supposed to film Relativity TV's reality dating show, he cancelled his starring role. "Chandler was just about to start filming a series similar to 'The Bachelor.' He was going to be introduced to a group of gorgeous women in hopes of being fixed up with the girl of his dreams," the source continued. "But before the cameras had a chance to roll, he's pulled out of the show."

The reason the basketball player changed his mind is apparently because of Kris. "Lots of girls are warned off dating athletes by friends. But in Parsons' case, it's his buddies who are warning him against dating a Kardashian!" the source claimed. "Everyone knows that when you date a Kardashian... you have to deal with Kris, who is totally enmeshed in the lives of her kids. No matter how hot Kendall is, it's not worth it."

"Let's face it... one of the Kardashian girls is always romancing a handsome athlete," the source added. "You had your Reggie Bush, your Kris Humphries, your Lamar Odom and now you got the new kid on the roster... Chandler Parsons."

On the other hand, Bruce Jenner is not too happy about his daughter dating an athlete: "Bruce knows how most professional athletes are major players, and he doesn't want that for his daughter. One the other hand, he doesn't want to cause trouble since his daughter's already been through so much this year with her parents' separation. Besides, it would be like trying to close the barn door after the horse is already out."
