There's no doubt that Lindsay Lohan, who has had plenty of reinventions and missteps, can fill a book on her life, but the star has other plans.

For one thing, she doesn't want to write about her relationships or sexual experiences.

"I would never write to violate someone else or objectify them; that's not my intention," she said. "I like to write because it's like therapy for me. I want to put (out) a lot of photos and cool stuff; it will probably be like a trilogy, like Harry Potter, because there's so many."

Lohan also doesn't want the focus of the book to be entirely on her.

"I've kept journals my whole life, since when I was a kid and stuff and I think I have a lot to say," she said. "I worked with a lot of girls in India that have gone through a lot of stuff, and a lot of kids who have gone through family issues or who get subjected to DUI or anything like that and then the pressure of just being better."

Lohan, who last went to rehab in 2013, has been determined to change her image. She has been getting ready for her debut in "Speed-the-Plow" in London. Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay will be co-starring with Lohan on stage.

It seems it really is a new Lohan, as she hopes her book will be inspirational.

"I feel like my book will be more about that than anything else because there's the excitement of the life that I have lived but I've seen a lot and if I can help anyone that might feel like it's OK to screw up, it's OK to feel lonely, or ugly or to feel overweight or underweight," she said.
