‘RHOA’ Kim Zolciak: Star Talks about Pros and Cons of Being a ‘Real Housewife’
On Wednesday Aug. 13, former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" and opened up about the highs and lows of being on the hit Bravo reality series for almost five seasons, reports E! News.
Zolciak, who is a mother of six children, admitted that while she was on the show, she had more of a social life.
"I mean there were fun times, I laughed a lot," Zolciak told "WWHL" host Andy Cohen. "You know, I did get out of my house a lot more ... I mean I had to go to these events, you know what I mean? Even though I was fighting at most of them, I did get out of my house a lot more, and I did laugh a lot. It was quite entertaining."
One aspect of "RHOA" that was not as "entertaining" for Zolciak was the drama she had with her fellow cast mates -- particularly NeNe Leaks.
"I really don't miss the drama, like 'Oh god, you're fighting with NeNe or whoever' and I have to be in this specific room and it's just like ... you could cut the energy with a knife. I don't miss that," she revealed.
Since their drawn-out feud on "RHOA," Leaks and Zolciak have made up and Zolciak admitted that she's "happy" that she and Leaks are friends again.
"NeNe and I are cool now, we were just so up and down on the show," she said. "We've been cool for a couple years now. I like that, I'm happy. That's the most important; I was friends with her long before Housewives. I'm in a really good place with her and that kind of makes me feel better."
So will Zolciak ever consider re-joining the "RHOA" cast?
Probably not, considering Zolciak's recent interview with In-Touch Weekly where she slammed "RHOA" for portraying her as a "wine drinking, raging lunatic."
"It got to a point where I felt like I was sacrificing myself for a paycheck. I never knew what I was getting into. I didn't like half of the women on the show, so that made things difficult," Zolciak told In-Touch.
