'Lo Que La Vida Me Robó' Dominates Television Ratings; Here's a Look Back at the Top Moments
"Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" ended on Aug. 15, but the show helped Univision reach top ratings.
The finale was watched by a total 6.3 million viewers, notes Univision PR. This helped the network rank No. 1 during the 9 p.m. hour for adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
On top of being well watched, it was also very discussed on social media.
"On the night of the finale, Friday, August 15, the series hashtag, #lavidamerobo, was the No. 1 TV series hashtag across all English and Spanish-language broadcast series hashtags," Univision notes.
In honor of the great success the series has reached, here are some of the top moments from the show.
1. Maria Loses It
Maria was unhinged. She wanted to be with Alejandro, and she was known to dress up as Montserrat to try to trick people. At one point, she is determined to kill Rosario, Montserrat and Alejandro. She decides that if she can't have him, then no one else can either.
2. Alejandro Awakens From A Coma
Alejandro was thought to have died in a plane accident, but he is really in a coma. By that time, Montserrat has moved on, agreeing to marry Jose Luis. It takes seven years for Alejandro to put his life back together after his accident.
3. Montserrat Stops Caring
Montserrat starts seeing Alejandro in secret, knowing that she will have to eventually tell Jose Luis the truth. When she overhears that Jose Luis knew that Alejandro was alive, she just stops caring. She tells him that she's been seeing Alejandro after confronting him.
4. Montserrat Really Stops Caring
Maria tries to trick Montserrat. She drugs Alejandro and gets him in her bed. She wants to break the two up, so she thinks this is the way to go about it. But Montserrat knows better. She knows that Maria is scheming, and Montserrat goes so far as telling her that Alejandro would never choose her.
