After a string of headlines about her MTV VMAs performance, several new reports surface about Miley Cyrus, and this time they are hitting her engagement with Liam Hemsworth.

After what seemed to be a reunited couple at the premiere night of Hemsworth's Paranoia, reports have surfaced that Liam now wants to break up with Miley. While this isn't the first time rumors of a break up have swirled, Hollywood Life reports that he "finally wants to end the relationship."

According to the report, the talked about raunchy performance of Cyrus at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards last Aug. 25 pushed Liam to end the relationship and the one-year engagement.

Miley performed her single "We Can't Stop" at the awards night where she danced provocatively, twerked and grinded on giant teddy bears, and used a foam finger inappropriately on Robin Thicke. Many have responded negatively to the performance, and according to reports, that included Liam. 

Noting a report by Us Weekly, Hollywood Life noted that Liam was "mortified" and "not pleased" with Miley's super sexual performance, pushing him to re-think their relationship and consider a "clean break" with the singer.

"They're just weeks away from calling it off. He is over her and wants to make a clean break," Mirror UK also noted the report by Us Weekly.

Mirror UK also reported that a source claiming to be Miley's friend confirmed the reports.

"[Miley] doesn't care at all. She's young and if he wants to go, she thinks it's fine," the friend said.

Notably, another report by Hollywood Life says a source has confirmed that a wedding is "not in the cards" anymore.

"They barely see each other. I wouldn't be surprised if they split for good soon," the source told the entertainment news website. "They are not getting married. It's not in the cards right now at all."
