Jenni Rivera Family News 2014: Daughter Chiquis Rivera Aiming for Hollywood Next?
Jenni Rivera's eldes daughter Chiquis Rivera is known to take on many different projects, but is she already thinking of a new move?
Rivera is tackling singing, and now a new picture shows her ready to take on Hollywood.
"Ready for my first day promoting #EsaNoSoyYo!!" she said. "#Hollywood I'm on my way."
So far, Rivera has only tackled singing in Spanish, but with someone who is as ambitious as Rivera is, it would not be surprising if she goes down this path eventually. For now, though, it seems she's more concerned about keeping the momentum going on her music career.
Though she has been busy promoting her music, Rivera took some time to participate in the ALS "Ice Bucket Challenge." She stood in front of a pool and wore a bathing suit beneath a sheer black coverup.
"Okay guys I finally accepted the #ALSIceBucketChallenge from like 20 people," she said. "Thank you for challenging me ...and now I challenge @donchetooficial and @imarlenequinto from @quebuenala and ALL my employees from@blowmedry_la PLEASE don't forget to donate."
She also asked her followers to be kind in their comments to her. Or else.
"ANYONE who talks about my weight will be IMMEDIATELY BLOCKED out of my life! #AintNobodyGotTimeForThat #ThickGirlDontCare #ILoveMyselfAndGreatCauses," she added.
Rivera recently teased a surprise for her song "Esa No Soy Yo."
She shared a picture on Instagram that looked as though she was shooting something. But, it wasn't the music video, as it had previously been released.
The song went on sale on July 18, and it appeared as the No. 1 Regional Mexican Digital Song, according to Billboard. It sold more than 3,000 downloads. It is the first song she has performed as an artist, and she has received both positive and negative reactions for her performance.
