Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have been seeing each other for three weeks and the two have decided to move in together. This comes as a surprise because the dating rumors have been circulating since late July, according to IB Times. Nikki Reed divorced her husband Paul McDonald only last May. They were married since 2011. According to media reports, Somerhalder and Reed are now living in Atlanta where the actor is staying for the filming of "The Vampire Diaries".

Some of the actors on the hit series are apprehensive that Reed, who's been visiting the set almost daily, might cause a rift between Somerhalder and his co-stars and in particular Nina Dobrev, who is the actor's ex-girlfriend. The two were an item for three years, and although they have split, they are still good friends. Apparently, Dobrev did not give her blessing to the actor's relationship with Reed, who is a good friend of hers. Therefore, people around them are feeling rather awkward.

The two actors are seemingly very much smitten with each other and had been seen with several PDA moments during a charity event in Beverly Hills, Hollywood Life reports. Somerhalder was being honored at the event as he is also known for his philanthropy. Witnesses who were at the event are saying that it seems that Somerhalder is enamored of Reed and serious about the relationship.

The new reports about their dating and living together came right after the breakout of another rumor about "The Vampire Diaries." It seems that one of the major stars of the show will be moving on when Season 6 ends. Insiders have revealed that so far Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder are the only ones that have signed up for Season 7.
