An investigation into the death of late music star Jenni Rivera is still not complete, according to reports from the Press-Telegram. The star died in a plane crash in 2012.

Meanwhile, the star's brother Lupillo Rivera recently dropped by Sabado Gigante to promote his new song, "El Rey de los Borrachos."

One of the biggest stories for Rivera in the last few months was that he was fighting for undocumented children in Murrieta, California. The singer was in the area when he noticed what was happening.

"We were driving down the road," he said. "I got off and did my poster and began to defend my people, as it should be. They called me every name in the book and then they didn't let the children enter Murrieta and I noticed the racism."

Lupillo became emotional when Sabado Gigante host Don Francisco showed him a video of his father, Pedro Rivera, saying how proud he was of Lupillo.

"I want you to know, son, that I am very proud of your actions, of the commitment you have made to defend these children," Pedro said. "I think it came into your mind how it was when we crossed the border, looking for the American dream."

Lupillo then talked about his relationship with his dad. He talked about picking grapes and tomatoes with his father.

He called them nice memories and says he has no complaints about his dad.

"It's a nice memory, and if God gives me the opportunity to do it again, I would do it again," he said.

He recently denied not having a relationship with his mom.

Lupillo said that he speaks to her mother every week, but that he doesn't want to speak to his brothers Juan or Gustavo.

On Sabado Gigante, he explained that the relationship has still not improved.

"They said a lot of things that hurt me," he said. "I felt unloved in the world."

He has accused them of talking about his ex-wife on social media and making his current wife uncomfortable.
