While Ana continues to get closer to the Lascurain children, Isabela sees herself continuing to struggle to build a relationship with them. (Catch up on episodes 26-30 here.)

Here's what happens in episodes 31-35.

Episode 31: Ana tells the seven children that she loves them and that she needs the job, so she won't be leaving them. Yolanda tries to hatch a plan to get Fernando to fire Ana. Diego continues to try to get Ana to fall for him. She tells him she's not interested, but she agrees to go to breakfast with him.

Episode 32: Fanny tells Nicolas and Diego that Fernando is getting married very quickly. Ximena cries and tells Nando not to leave her for Briana. Doctors tell Jenny that she will need to have her uterus removed, and she responds by breaking things off with Nicolas. She tells him that she has found someone younger.

Fernando ends up seeing Ana and his brother, Diego, having dinner. He asks Ana to leave, and the two start arguing. Diego leaves the home upset.

Episode 33: Diego asks Ana what happened between her and Fernando. Ana says that she tricked herself into thinking he was interested in her. Yolanda goes wedding dress shopping with Isabela, and she tells her that she looks fat in the gowns. Diego visits Jennifer at Chicago nightclub, and he is surprised to see Ana dancing there.

Diego jokes that he's going to tell Fernando, but Ana really takes him seriously. This drives her to write Fernando a letter revealing everything. She puts it under his door, and she later finds out that Diego was just joking. Fernando has already taken the card.

Episode 34: Diego covers for Ana and pretends he wrote the letter. Jennifer finds Nicolas and asks for forgiveness. She even tells him what she is going through, but she tells him that she doesn't want any money. Fernando tells Nicolas that he's very jealous about Ana and Diego. He sees Ana and Diego kissing. He gives her a kiss on the check, but Fernando thinks Diego was actually kissing Ana.

Episode 35: Diego and Fernando fight for Ana. She comes across a wedding invitation and feels her heart breaking. Fanny tries to persuade her dad to call off his wedding to Isabela. The wedding dress arrives to the Lascurain mansion, Ana keeps it safe in her room. The twins and Luz are determined to burn it because they think it will stop the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, Ana and Fernando talk. She asks him if he ever liked her. He responds no. Instead, he said, he loved her.
