In the last episode, Estefania goes after the red diamond, which Victor realizes and tries to stop. Lazaro looks for Bolivar to inform him that it was Octavio de Rosas who murdered Damian.

Here's what to expect from episodes 40 to 45.

Episode 40: Lazaro tells Reina that, ever since she got married and became a millionaire, she has changed and forgotten her roots. Estefania tells Lopez that their plan didn't work out and that someone tried to kill her. Also, she lost the red diamond, but she's going to get it back. Bolivar tells Smith that Victor is El Halcón Negro and that he has stolen the red diamond, and he is probably who murdered Damian.

Episode 41: Reina is dressed as a nun along with her daughter, and she thanks the priest for helping her leave the convent to find Smith. Smith takes them home, and Reina wonders why she has helped them so much. Reina plans to leave everything behind, and she tells Smith that the hardest thing is never again seeing Javier Bolivar.

Episode 42: Victor is going to reveal who Estefania is. Javier Bolivar arrives with Smith and tells her that work is slow and that he needs results. He said that hiding Reina Ortiz is not enough. He gets a call from Reina, where she apologizes for what she's done but she tells him that he deserves a better woman than her. Victor talks to his dad and tells him that someone helped Reina escape because her room is untouched, and she left everything behind. Estefania asks Victor how long he is going to hide his true identity.

Episode 43: Octavio de Rosas tells Greta who Estefania Perez Hidalgo really is. She's a showgirl, an exotic dancer, something terrible. Estefania married a rich man, who died the same day of their wedding.

Episode 44: Javier tells Smith that, if it wasn't Victor, it could only be Octavio de Rosas who kidnapped Reina and Clarita. Bolivar arrives to rescue Reina and Clarita, when he is captured by an agent. It turns out to be his boss, who says that Smith is not trustworthy.

Episode 45: Bolivar says that Smith is one of the best agents. A police officer enters the room where Clarita and Reina. They feign feeling sick and hit him, take his gun and escape. Smith tells Bolivar that she failed and that Octavio de Rosas escaped. Bolivar asks if she loves Octavio, which she says that just as she grew to love him, she also grew to hate him. Now, she feels nothing for him.
