Though you may enjoy your Alejandra Guzmán records, the singer does not.

According to TV Notas, sometimes Guzmán would rather let an unknown singer sing in her place so that she can rest.

This is fitting for the singer who has participated in Mexican's version of "The Voice," and who will now be joining Univision's new show, "Va Por Ti," which will premiere Sept. 7.

"I am very excited and very excited to participate in this new way to find stars," she said.  "It's my first day of work, and everything has turned out marvelously well."

This will be the first time Guzmán collaborates with Univision in such a big way. She has worked with the network before, but not quite like this.

In this role, she probably won't have to do much singing. 

She's not the only artist who doesn't enjoy listening to themselves. Romeo Santos revealed in early August that he doesn't like his speaking or singing voice.

"I don't enjoy hearing myself talk. ... I don't like my voice and I don't enjoy my singing voice, I do what I do to bring pleasure and diversion to the fans," he said. "It is something that people have mentioned to me, and I think that the difference between [when I'm] singing and talking is because when I sing, I try to sing with a feeling that I don't have when I'm talking because I sound very hoarse."

Enrique Iglesias is another person who doesn't enjoy listening to his music.

He recalled listening to one of his first songs, "Si Tu Te Vas," on the radio as he was driving. He was 16 at the time, and he called it "one of the most embarrassing moments in my life."

"I had to literally park the car, and I remember that I was thinking aloud, 'I can't believe people are listening to this,'" he said. "I felt as though everyone was reading my diary."
