Hunger Games 'Mockingjay' Part 1: New Movie Posters Feature Liam Hemsworth and Katniss' Rebel Warriors [Trailer]
While the next installment of the popular film "Hunger Games" is not set to hit the big screen until Nov. 20, its creators have been building up anticipation by allowing the audience to have a feel of the world where the story is set.
Previously, the simple but powerful portraits of citizens of Panem coming from the different Districts were posted, but the lead characters appeared to be missing despite their popularity among the fans. This is especially applicable to Jennifer Lawrence, who has a massive cult-like following, including admirers who are not part of the "Hunger Games" Trilogy fandom.
This time around, the newest batch of images feature the Rebel Warriors, as well as new characters and Liam Hemsworth in full battle gear, Express reports. There is also an image of 32-year-old British actress Natalie Dormer, who will be playing the role of Cressida, a film director who used her expertise and her crew to produce propaganda in support of the rebellion. The actress had to shave one side of her head for her role in the film.
Liam Hemsworth has mostly stayed in the background for the first two installations of the "Hunger Games," but Gale starts to step up in the third book as he joins the rebel army that amassed in the abandoned District 13. The movie posters can be seen on the movie's facebook page.
Other images include supporting characters that will be playing the role of Rebel Warriors and companions to Katniss, who will be carrying out her role as she leads the rebellion in an attempt to expose The Capitol and its evils.
New characters to be portrayed include Evan Ross as Messalia, who is an assistant to Cressida, and Mahershala Ali as Boggs, who is the right hand of District 13's president Alma Coin. Actors from the first installments will be reprising their roles, including the late Philip Seymour Hoffman who was able to finish filming his part before his untimely death earlier this year.
