Scarlett Johansson Names Baby Girl Rose: Fiancé Romain Dauriac & 'Captain America' Actress Engaged Since Last September
Congratulations are in order! Scarlett Johansson and fiancé Romain Dauriac just received a wonderful blessing -- the pair had a daughter, which they have named Rose Dauriac.
Scarlett gave birth to her daughter on Sept. 4. A representative for the couple, Marcel Pariseau, said that both mother and daughter are doing fine, however, they are seeking privacy at this time. The couple are advocates of the No Kids Policy and do not want their child to grow up under the spotlight, according to CBS News.
Johansson and Romain Dauriac started dating in 2012 and got engaged in September of last year. There is no announcement yet as to when they are going to get married.
In March, there was a report that Johansson was expecting, although the extremely private actress kept mum about the subject, even if she was quoted as saying that she wanted to start a family.
The "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" star neither confirmed nor denied the rumor and actually hid her pregnancy even when a very obvious baby bump could no longer be hidden, Hollywood Life reports.
Things might become different now that they have a child together, because earlier Johansson was saying that she did not want to rush the marriage because she wanted to enjoy savor being engaged.
Scarlett Johansson was married to actor Ryan Reynolds before. She now says that she wants to have it all and find a balance between work and family. Several celebrities have done it so it is very possible that Johansson will also do well.
Scarlett Johansson, who is a first-time mom, said that she plans to continue working. But she will take time off first to care for her baby.
Incidentally, Alyssa Milano and her husband David Bugliari welcomed their second child. Milano gave birth on the same day as Scarlett to a baby girl, which they have named Elizabella Dylan. Their son, Milo, is now three years old.
