Latin News Catch-Up: Maite Perroni's Upcoming Fashion Line, Sebastián Rulli Gets Down Time & Chiquis Rivera Is Fueled by Critics
This week, the Latin community lost a great. Gustavo Cerati died after four years of being in a coma.
Other big moments included soccer stud James Rodriguez being named the sexiest man by People En Español, and Eiza Gonzalez confirmed she was in a relationship with her "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" co-star, D.J. Cotrona.
Here's what else you may have missed this week.
Maite Perroni's telenovela was just released on Univision this week, but the singer and actress doesn't want to just stop there. She is launching Maite Perroni Collection in December.
"I looked to the essence and comfort of women," she said. "It's going to reflect my likes, but interpreted through many different personalities: classic and feminine, bohemian and rocker."
But the singer is still excited about her journey as a singer, as she shared a picture of the stage and said her dreams were materializing.
Marco Antonio Solis had to set the record straight.
There were rumors that the singer had died, but he took to Twitter to let people know that it was all a lie.
"It's a sad truth how many people are an easy prey for these lies," he said.
Just a day before clearing up rumors, he shared a picture of a concert in Washington, D.C.
Sebastián Rulli has been enjoying time off from being on tour for "Los Derechos de La Mujer." He's been spending time with his son, and he's been spotted in Cabos San Lucas as well.
Ninel Conde's former friend has spoken out against the singer.
Designer Gustavo Matta has revealed that Conde owes him $23,000 for clothing he created for her.
"For a great and long friendship to end over something so stupid, something so dirty as money," Matta said.
The designer added that Conde still wears the clothing, and that he has been there for her for everything.
And Chiquis Rivera has spoken out about all the criticism she has received.
She admits to feeling bad after all the negative comments, but she decided to use the negativity as motivation.
"Now I understand and accept, the people that don't like you won't ever like you," she said.
She also teased an upcoming song with Chino y Nacho. She wouldn't reveal the name of the song, but she described it as a song that will get people dancing.
