Rihanna may be catching people's attention for what she wears when she sits front row at New York Fashion Week, but Miley Cyrus is gaining attention for what she does away from the tents.

Cyrus decided to skip the shirt and wore only nipple pasties in the shape of ice cream cones. She paired the look with black pants, and she has posted the pictures from the night onto her Instagram account.

Cyrus was also seen smoking and wearing pink glitter.

She was at the Alexander Wang after party, where she posed with the designer.

Cyrus described it as the "best night eva with @alexanderwangny."

It wasn't just Wang that Cyrus spent time with. She was also photographed with the Jenner sisters and Gigi Hadid.

Model Kendall Jenner has been making the rounds at the New York Fashion Week shows, already having walked for Diane von Furstenberg.

Jenner also caused some controversy with her new nude picture. Kourtney Kardashian shared a picture of her younger sister in the nude snap, and people were quick to criticize Jenner for the artsy picture. Some said she was "too young" or would "regret it later."

It's also not the only controversy surrounding the reality star turned model.

"Unfortunately, it affects non-celebrity models by taking away paying jobs and great opportunities for non-celebrity models to succeed in their career," model Sierra Illig said. "It is hard to see our modeling jobs being handed over so quickly to celebrities simply because of their fame, familiar face and Hollywood connections."

Cyrus is also doing a little more than just attending shows and the after parties. This fashion week Cyrus has teamed up with Jeremy Scott to debut her first art collection during the designer's trade show on Sept. 10, notes MTV.

And based on the colorful pieces and Cyrus' aesthetic during her tour, she couldn't have picked a better place to debut her art.

Her pieces were created by items she found or was given during the Bangerz tour.

"My fans will be into it, especially because I'm involving them," she said. "It's building connections with people. And I'll have my stuff on models-stuff that I'm excited for them to wear. I'm excited. And this is giving me happiness, so that's all I have to focus on."
