As the competition between Microsoft and Sony heats up ahead of the November launch of each company's respective new game consoles, the two sides are doing the best to advertise their product.

With increased competition, however, come increased tensions. Microsoft's Albert Penello is unhappy about the way rival Sony has treated the soon to be released Xbox One.

"I do want to be super clear: I'm not disparaging Sony," Penello said to NeoGAF. "I'm not trying to diminish them, or their launch or what they have said. But I do need to draw comparisons since I am trying to explain that the way people are calculating the differences between the two machines isn't completely accurate. I think I've been upfront I have nothing but respect for those guys, but I'm not a fan of the mis-information about our performance."

Lately Sony has been known to have a more powerful Playstation 4 system, when it comes to performance, than Microsoft's Xbox One. However, Penello said that there is more to see and that he is confident that the Xbox One will be just as powerful.

"I'm not dismissing raw performance. I'm stating - as I have stated from the beginning - that the performance delta between the two platforms is not as great as the raw numbers lead the average consumer to believe,"

Both systems will have a release date lined up perfectly with the late November Black Friday sale. The PS4 will be kick off the new generation of video games when Sony releases the game console in stores on Nov. 15 while the Xbox One will be exactly on week behind with a Nov. 22 release.
