Fans of NBC's "Grimm" can look forward to finally seeing what happens after Season three's blowout finale once the series returns this fall.

Season 3 ended with a daunting cliffhanger as Nick lost his Grimm powers, Captain Sean Renard was left in critical condition after being shot in the chest by Weston Steward, and Monroe and Rosalee's wedding reception came to ruins.

However, unlike many TV shows that include a time lapse between seasons, executive producer James Kouf says there won't be a time jump at the start of Season 4.

"There's too much going on!" said the EP, according to TVLine.

He teased that Nick and Juliette will tassel over whether Nick's loss of Grimm powers is a good or bad thing.

"Nick's saying, 'Maybe our life would be better,' and Juliette's definitely saying, 'Let's take some time and figure this out,'" said Kouf.

The showrunner also warned that some "very bad things" will happen to newlyweds Monroe and Rosalee in the first third of the season. "There are forces out there, a kind of Wesen Klu Klux Klan, that do not like this kind of intermarriage," the EP said.

In addition, executive producer David Greenwalt revealed that Sean Renard is nearing death, and "there's nothing, it turns out, that medical science can really do for him." He hinted that it's no coincidence that a "very well-preserved" woman who's close to the captain then comes on the scene.

He also teased that while Adalind thinks the royals have her baby, "she's got a rude awakening coming."

TV Guide reports that British actress and CSI alum Louise Lombard will guest star on the drama series next season as Elizabeth Lascelles, "a mysterious woman who is connected to the royal families."

There is also speculation that Elizabeth will go toe-to-toe with Adalind, who will travel back to Europe to retrieve her missing daughter. Adalind believes that the child was kidnapped by the royals, however Prince Viktor actually lied about having her baby. He is also with Detective Nick Burkhardt's mom.

Season 4 of "Grimm" premieres on NBC on Friday, Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. ET.
