Apple made the highly-anticipated iPhone 5S/5C and iOS 7 announcement two days ago, revealing all of the long-awaited details on the new gadgets and software. Are you interested in buying one of the new iPhones. Take a look at all of the specs below, as well as which retailers will carry the iPhones and when both will officially be on shelves. The original iPhone 5 that was introduced last year will no longer be sold.

iPhone 5S

The iPhone 5S is considered the upgraded version of the iPhone 5. It's equipped with iOS 7 and is offered in gold, silver and grey. According to BGR, the 5S comes with an A7 chip, the first 64-bit chip on a smart phone, which will basically allow all apps to run faster. The 5S is also equipped with iSight, an 8-megapixel, 1080p front-facing, dual flash camera that also takes slow motion video.

CNET reports that the 5S features a 4-inch retina display with 1,136x640 pixels. The 5S also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner, which is much more efficient than a passcode, and a dedicated fitness tracker. In terms of weight, it averages around 3.95 ounces and 0.3 inch. The battery life is a talk time of up to 10 hours on 3G with a standby of 250 hours. BGR reports that on a two-year contract, the 5S will be $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB and $399 for 64GB. The 5S is set to be released on Sept. 20 in the U.S., Canada and Australia, as well as China for the first time. U.S. carriers of the 5S are Apple stores, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile U.S. and Walmart (will only sell 16 GB).

For Walmart, the 16GB 5S is $189 with a two-year contract, GottaBeMobile reports. The old iPhone 5 will $79 with a two-year contract at Walmart while supplies last. Walmart will not take pre-orders for the 5S.

iPhone 5C

The iPhone 5C, which is made from recycled iPhone parts, will sport the same 4-inch retina display as the 5S, battery life talking time, and iOS 7 as well. What are the differences? According to CNET, the 5C will not have a dedicated fitness tracker or a fingerprint scanner, and will weigh 4.65 ounces. The 5C's 8-megapixel camera will be 720 p front-facing, with no dual-element flash. It will also have a proprietary A6 CPU instead of an A7.

The 5C comes in green, blue, yellow, pink, black and white, and will be significantly cheaper than the 5S. In its carriers, which include AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, Global and U.S. cellular, it will cost $99 for a 16GB and $199 for a 32GB on contract. The 5C will also be available for pre-orders. GottaBeMobile has confirmed that Walmart, Sprint and AT&T will have the 5C available for pre-orders on Sept. 13. Verizon and T-Mobile will presumably have the 5C ready for pre-orders tomorrow as well, but neither have made it official on their website.

Just like the 5S, Walmart will make the 5C cheaper at $89 on contract. Without a pre-order, the 5C will be available on its carriers' shelves Sept. 20, the same day as the 5S.
