If you haven't seen Miley Cyrus's latest music video for "Wrecking Ball," which has broken a Vevo record with over 59 million views, then you either don't have Internet or are on another planet. The video has made headlines due to the fact that Cyrus appears completely naked for a majority of the video, while swinging on an actual wrecking ball and licking a sledgehammer.

But according to Cyrus, the controversial video has a much deeper meaning than what most people have been discussing. Entertainment Weekly reports that the twerk superstar told Z100's Elvis Duran that people need to look into her eyes/soul and not at her other assets.

"I think the video is much more," she said. "If people get past the point I make, and you actually look at me, you can tell I look more broken than even the song sounds."

The video was directed by Terry Richardson, a celebrity and model photographer who was repeatedly accused of objectifying and sexually harassing teenage girls back in 2010.

"If people can take their minds off the obvious and go into their imagination and see what the video really means, it is so vulnerable," Cyrus added "... If you look at my eyes, I look more sad than actually my voice sounds on the record. It was a lot harder to actually do the video than it was to even record the song. It was much more of an emotional experience."

"Kind of anything that I do at this point it becomes such this big deal and for me," she continued. "I'm just having fun, and whatever people label it as, it doesn't really matter, I'm just having fun."

Some celebrities, including Lady Gaga, thinks the media should leave Cyrus alone and let her do her thing. Cyrus's fourth studio album "Bangerz" is set to be released Oct. 4, and will feature collaborations with Britney Spears, Nelly and Big Sean.

What do you think of Cyrus's opinion on her new video? I mean, she's just being Miley, right?
