It was supposed to be his 41st birthday on Sept. 12 and Paul Walker's friends and family did not fail to pay tribute to their loved one who suffered an untimely demise in November of last year. Vin Diesel, Walker's co-star in the "Fast and Furious" franchise shared a heartbreaking message to his friend by posting a video of Paul Walker's birthday celebration last year with the caption "One year ago, honouring our brother." In the clip, Paul Walker is seen blowing out his birthday candles before giving Vin Diesel a hug. The post ended with the words "Miss you Pablo."

Paul's daughter, Meadow Walker, also shared a photo of her father and herself when she was a little girl with the caption "Happy birthday, I love you." A sunset photo on Instagram wishing Walker a happy birthday was also posted by Jordana Brewster, who plays the actor's wife in the film, IB Times reports.

"Fast & Furious 7" is set to be released in of April next year after its production had been stalled following the accident that took the lives of Paul Walker and his friend Rogar Rodas, who were returning from a charity event. Production resumed after months of grieving over the loss of the co-star and friend to the cast and crew.

Paul Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody were then taken on board to complete the remaining scenes of Brian O'Connor -- Paul Walker's iconic role in the popular series. His character will be retired in the seventh installment of the franchise.

Diesel has been active in sharing updates regarding the upcoming film, which is supposed to be premised upon vengeance for the death of Han. The cast will feature returning stars from the series with the addition of Paul Walker's siblings. James Wan of "Conjuring" is the director of this film.
