With a WWE Tag Team title defense just days away at WWE Night of Champions, Jimmy Uso of the Uso brothers defeated Stardust -- who will team up with his brother Goldust on Sunday night in an attempt to win the Usos' title -- in singles competition to kick off WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

The Miz, accompanied by his stunt-double, teamed up with Cesaro for a tag team match only to lose at the hands of WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler (who defends his title against The Miz on Sunday) and WWE United States Champion Sheamus (who will be challenged by Cesaro at Night of Champions).

Adam Rose brought his party bus and his "Rose Buds" to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi, defeating Heath Slater, who was accompanied by his current tag team partner Titus O'Neil. Rose hit Slater with the Party Foul after getting a huge assist from The Bunny in his entourage, who hopped onto the ring off the top rope to prevent O'Neil from interfering in the bout.

The Wyatt Family -- Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan -- took out The Big Show and Los Matadores after Wyatt nailed one of Los Matadores with Sister Abigail to earn the win for his creepy clan.

WWE Divas Champion Paige taunted one of her Night of Champions challengers, AJ Lee (who was doing commentary during the champion's match), scheduled to be in her Triple Threat match title defense while defeating her other opponent, Nikki Bella, in a non-title singles match.

Bo Dallas got a measure of revenge on Friday Night SmackDown after take a huge "L" on Monday Night Raw, making a "Bo-Liever" out of Jack Swagger after "The Inspirational One" landed his Bo-Dog to earn the pinfall win.

In the main event, Rusev defeated Roman Reigns via disqualification after Seth Rollins came down to the ring and attempted to hit Reigns with his Money In The Bank suitcase, only to miss and hit the European strongman. Rollins and Reigns started brawling after the bout before Mark Henry made his way to the ring. Henry went right after Rusev and took him out with The World's Strongest Slam to end the show, celebrating by saluting Old Glory.
