Kendrick Lamar is reportedly set to release the first single off his highly anticipated upcoming sophomore album next week.

While the Compton emcee has been quite secretive about his new LP, watchLOUD took to its Twitter account on Sept. 12 to announce the rumored track title. "Kendrick Lamar is dropping a new single soon. 'I Love Myself.' That album's on the way," the video production company wrote.

The latest news allegedly came from a private dinner that IGA (Interscope Geffen A&M) and Clear Channel hosted for radio personalities. Another Twitter user named Kurt Throwbridge revealed the official date for K. Dot's forthcoming music, as well as for other Interscope artists Gwen Stefani ("Baby Don't Lie") and Fergie ("L.A. Love La La"). "Big singles coming out of Interscope in the next few weeks, as their promo site just revealed: Fergie Monday, Kendrick Tuesday, Gwen 10/6," he tweeted. The dates were claimed to be accidentally leaked from the IGA promote website and immediately removed.

HipHop-n-More then confirmed with sources that the "B*tch, Don't Kill My Vibe" hitmaker will definitely release a new track on Sept. 23, and its actual title is going to be "I."

In addition, the TDE artist recently discussed the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2012 major label debut album "good kid, m.A.A.d" that will feature "aggression and emotion." "There was a lot left out of 'good kid,'" he said in an interview with Rolling Stone. "It could have been a 30-track album. There are a few new [songs] that can tie in with what I was talking about."

Kendrick Lamar added that he made several songs with Dr. Dre and house producer Digi+Phonics, however his next project will not have features from other artists: "I have so much to say. It's almost selfish of me."
