On Wednesday, Stephen Collins -- best known for his work as Reverend Eric Camden on "7th Heaven" -- shared a photo of himself and the rest of the "7th Heaven" cast reuniting for a family dinner, E! News reports.

"1st time in 8 yrs Joy, laughs! Dave,Preg @beverleymitchel,me, @JessicaBiel, @realBarryWatson, Cath. No @mack_smack," Collins tweeted along with the photo.

Entertainment Weekly notes that Mackenzie Rosman -- who played the youngest daughter Ruthie on the show -- was not in attendance for the TV family reunion. In addition to Collins, Beverly Mitchell (Lucy) also expressed her excitement over the cast's reunion dinner.

"Something truly amazing happened last night and my heart is overflowing!" Mitchell wrote on her WhoSay account. "Love these peeps more than I can ever explain! We were just missing Mack! Feeling so incredibly blessed to have these incredible people in my life!!! #theresnothinglikefamily #7thheaven #love #blessed"

As the nostalgic "7th Heaven" photo continued to flood the Internet, fans took to Twitter to express their joy and excitement over the reunion. "This #7th Heaven reunion picture brings me incredible [joy] & a little sadness at how sappy I am about the Camden's," Twitter user @Winghead19 wrote.

Another Twitter user, @7HeavenMoments, tweeted their wish for a "7th Heaven" TV reboot to be in the works.

"Could I wish for a second that maybe they were all together because there IS a #7thHeaven reunion in the works???? I can dream, right?!," @7thHeavenMoments tweeted.

Although a "7th Heaven" television remake has yet to be confirmed, "7th Heaven" cast member, Beverly Mitchell did confirm earlier this month that she's expecting her fourth child.

People reports, Mitchell made the announcement on her WhoSay account.

"#tbt to the place where Michael asked me to marry him, and this past year where we stood as a family of three! Can't believe in 2015 we will be a family of 4!!!" Mitchell wrote.

Mitchell's reps confirmed to People that her baby is due early next year.
