Fans of Matthew McConaughey's Dallas will be disappointed to learn that the actor will not be in the "Magic Mike" sequel.

The Oscar winner has decided not to be in "Magic Mike XXL," which was confirmed by director Gregory Jacobs, notes E! News.

But if you're the kind of person that hates sequels because they just tend to rehash the same things from the first movie, then you'll be happy to hear that this won't be the case with the second "Magic Mike" movie.

"It's a road trip movie, and put it this way: it's different enough that once you see it, you'll understand why we made a sequel," said Jacobs. "No one will be accusing us of making the same movie twice."

Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Channing Tatum will be back for the second movie, which began filming at the beginning of September, though filming started in August on Myrtle Beach.

It is expected to be released on July 1, 2015.

There will be some new faces for the sequel, but if it were up to Tatum, he would star with Zac Efron.

"Of course, I want to see Zac naked," he said.

Joe Manganiello's trainer shared on Tuesday that he was already in great shape for the movie. Ron Matthews, who is the owner of Reebok Crossfit Lab, has been getting Manganiello ready. According to Matthews, Manganiello is getting ready to shoot a dance scene.

"I am getting @JoeManganiello ready for #magicmike2, 2 weeks until he starts dancing. How do you think he is looking?" he said.

In another tweet, Matthews shared a picture of Manganiello working out beside retired football player LaVar Arrington. Matthews said that Manganiello "held his own and then some."

Manganiello described himself and Arrington as just two dudes from Pittsburgh.
