iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Cases and Accessories: Variety of New Cases Available for Newest iPhone
With last week's release of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Apple has responded to the smartphone market and finally released larger phones.
While several reviews commend the new iPhones for being more durable than in the past, many users will -- probably wisely -- opt to buy a case to protect their phone and try to avoid the dreaded shattered screen.
Here's a look at some of the top cases on the market for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Per usual, Apple has released cases for its new iPhones, and this time the company has come out with leather and silicone cases. Fans of colorful cases won't be disappointed, as the leather option is available in five colors and the silicone option comes in six colors.
Apple's leather casing costs $45 for the iPhone 6 and $49 for the iPhone 6 Plus, according to Apple Insider. The silicone case runs from $35 to $39. Buyers can find these cases on Apple's website.
OtterBox cases have become popular for smartphone users who want to make their phone close to indestructible with some models even able to prevent water damage. OtterBox has a variety of models that fit the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, ranging from $20 to $70 for the most protective model.
OtterBox's AlphaGlass screen protector has yet to make its way onto the iPhone 6 Plus.
The company's Defender, Symmetry and Commuter models currently are available, while Commuter Wallet, Alpha Glass and Clearly protected will be released soon.
Incipio has become one of the most popular case makers for iPhones and iPads, and the company has made several of its cases available for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
For the iPhone 6, Incipio offers the DualPro, Feather, Highland, NGP Edge, Octane, Phenom, Rival, Stowaway and Watson cases. And for the iPhone 6 Plus, the company has larger versions of the DualPro, Feather, Highland, NGP Edge, Rival and Stowaway models.
The cases range from $20 for the NGP to $45 for the Watson and come in a variety of colors. The cases right now are available on preorder from Amazon and the Incipio website.
