Even though Jeremy Renner's character Hawkeye did not appear in "Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier," Renner let a little something slip about "Captain America 3." Marvel films are long awaited by devoted fans, so all news is good news.

Marvel's next big screen film will be "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" hitting theaters May 2015. While Marvel Studios works on "Age of Ultron" they have already begun planning for "Captain America 3." With the huge success that was "Winter Soldier" directors will have to work hard to top the story with this upcoming film. As great as the second "Captian America" might have been, it was missing Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye. Even though Hawkeye and the Black Widow seem to be inseparable in other Avengers films, Hawkeye did not appear alongside Natasha Romanoff in this last chapter. Renner is hinting that won't be the case in the next story.

In an interview with MTV, Renner said that he considers his Hawkeye character "a utility guy that can bounce around into other people's universes a little bit, especially like Cap 3." Renner wasn't asked specifically about any Marvel film, but he just happened to volunteer that answer. So there you have it; there might be a big chance Hawkeye will appear in "Captain America 3" alongside Chris Evans and possibly Scarlett Johansson.

The actor also took the opportunity to make it very clear that he's not looking to have his own movie or spin-off as Hawkeye.

"I'm happy to be the ensemble. I'm not scratching or clawing to do a solo movie by any means," Renner said. One of Shield's best men says he is better used as a team player. One thing is for sure, he will certainly be starring in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" next year.

What do you think Hawkeye's role will be in Cap 3 if he does appear in the film?
