The next Samsung smartwatch is coming to the Big Four wireless carriers this fall and it will be compatible with wireless headphones and Bluetooth devices.

The best thing about the Samsung Gear S watch is that it does not have to be paired with a smartphone to operate. It can do many of the things a smartphone can do by itself.

The Display- It's big and square. Definitely not sleek and circular, so get used to it. It's a 2-inch display and it will look nice on your wrist, and its Super AMOLED display will result in brighter colors. If you have a small wrist though, be prepared for a big watch.

Sensors- This is going to be a perfect workout companion thanks to all the sensors and meters on the watch. It will pair well with Samsung's version of a Health app.

OS- Instead of running Android or another predictable operating system the Gear S watch will run Samsung's own OS called Tizen. Tizen already has 1,000 apps lined up for when this watch launches.

Mic and Speakers- Get ready talk and listen to your wrist. This smartwatch is going to be able to hear what you say and you will be able to hear what it says thanks to a built-in microphone and speakers.

Battery- A 300 mAh battery will power the Gear S. Not bad for a watch battery. This should last you at least a day with normal use, maybe even two, before needing to be re-charged.

Price- It will cost you. But, not as much as you might think. Probably a little over $400 according to Mashable.

Release Date- Samsung announced Wednesday that the watch will be available this fall. Signs point to closer to November.
