Over the summer, Jeremy Meeks became an instant Internet sensation after his mug shot went viral and he became known as the "hot convict." Now, Angela Coates seems to be following in the sexy ex-con's footsteps.

Coates, a 22-year-old model from Miami, is the latest lawbreaker to garner attention over her stunning good looks.

She was arrested for disorderly conduct in DeKalb County, Georgia, on Aug. 26 and released the same day, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office told the Huffington Post.

However, her booking photo went viral after it was posted on GeorgiaArrests.org. Shortly, thereafter the Florida native was recognized as the "world's hotttest mug shot," reports Mirror.co.uk.

She also received a flood of tweets from admirers, some who even offered to pay her bail.

"I would sell off our family house for the bond money, leave my wife and kids homeless for Angela Coates," wrote Twitter user @Treezy100.

"We have to open a kickstarter account to make angela coates' bail money and lawyer fees," tweeted someone with the handle @dustyfootharry.

Another tweeter compared her mugshot to a "beauty pageant entry form," while others tweeted her compliments under the hashtag #prisonbae, reports the Independent.co.uk.

In an interview with Inside Edition, she said that she takes her modelling career seriously and won't be going for a "crime mugshot look."

Coates, who has been featured as Jet Magazine's "Beauty of the Week," describes herself as a model and entrepreneur on Instagram. According to her modeling profile, she enjoys ballet, baking and designing shoes.

Hopefully, the social media frenzy over her mug shot will lead to the promise of fame like it did for Meeks, who landed a contract with Blaze Modelz, a huge modeling agency based in Los Angeles, according to CBS Local.
