Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus have officially called it quits.

After a bunch of rumors about the split hit the net over the past weeks, finally both camps have confirmed that Miley and Liam have ended their year-long engagement and are officially over.

Reps for the "Wrecking Ball" singer and the Hunger Games hunk have confirmed to Yahoo! OMG that they have already broken up. While no confirmed word on why the two broke up, reports have it that Liam was "mortified" by Miley's MTV VMA performance that he wanted out of the relationship. Notably, just yesterday we reported that the singer unfollowed his former fiancé on Twitter, fueling more talks that the two have indeed separated.

Miley and Liam, who met at the set of their 2010 film The Last Song, has been through a rollercoaster love affair. After working together on the movie, they started dating and got engaged on May 2012. During that time, Miley was madly in love with her "boo," posting tweets like "I love you more today than yesterday but I love you less today than I will tomorrow," notes Yahoo! OMG.

Miley also told People.com during the time of her engagement, "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam." But a happy life didn't seem to follow the two as rumors of a split bombarded their more than two-year relationship. On several occasions, Miley was even seen without her 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring.

Even with the two reuniting during Liam's Paranoia premiere night, the split confirmation still didn't come as a surprise because several sources have already hinted on the breakup.

"They barely see each other. I wouldn't be surprised if they split for good soon," a source told Hollywood Life. "They are not getting married. It's not in the cards right now at all."

And now, it seems Liam has already moved on.

Just after the confirmation of heir split, Daily Mail Online reports that Liam was seen partying with another girl in Las Vegas last Saturday. According to the news website, the actor was "getting very close" to Eiza Gonzalez, a popular 23-year-old Mexican actress, at Bungalow club.

"Liam and Eiza are said to have never left each other's side during the night," the site wrote. "The pair reportedly enjoyed some drinks, Liam smoked a cigarette and they talked and flirted very close in the the VIP section of the club."

The two reportedly left the club together at 2 a.m.
