‘The Legend of Korra’ Book 4: 5 Notable Things From Official Trailer [Watch]
"The Legend of Korra" book four premiere is quickly approaching, and Nickelodeon has given fans a new clip.
The about two-minute clip gives a good look into what fans will be able to see starting on Oct. 3.
1. Korra has had time to recover.
Korra almost died at the end of book three, and she was very visibly shaken in the last few moments of the Season 3 finale. And though last week's clip showed that Korra was still struggling after her battle with Zaheer, she'll be back in fighting form eventually. With the help of passage of time (three years) and Katara's healing powers, Korra is back to her old self. But when you see her cut off her hair, it might be signaling that she's the new and improved avatar.
2. The Earth Kingdom is everywhere.
From the Earth nation symbol being present on the trailer to the fact that Korra is wearing Earth Kingdom garb, it seems the Earth Kingdom will be in power. Another example of this is Kuvira, who is voiced by Zelda Williams, who is seen several times throughout the clip and looks to be the main antagonist. There will also be a lot of platinum bending.
3. The airbenders have evolved.
It's been a long time since there have been many airbenders, so there are now an actual nation. Because of this, there can be more improvements on skills since there are more people to have input. One of the biggest differences is that their outfits changed. Jinora has had her hair grow back, so she no longer looks like her grandfather, Aang.
4. We're going on a trip to the fire nation.
Members of the fire nation have made appearances, but this is the first time we'll be going to the fire nation. There are volcanoes that signal it has to take place there. If not, Zuko and his daughter are also seen in the trailer, so they'll likely play a role in the last season.
5. Toph!
Toph has been talked about a lot, especially in this last season when we first met Lin Beifong's sister, Suyin. At the end of the trailer, Korra comes across Toph in a dark place. Korra's holding fire in her hands and then she spots the earthbender.
